How many hours should I purchase?

The number of hours will depend on the current needs & circumstances of the workplace and is at the employer’s discretion.

Are there limits on counselling sessions?

Employers can pre-set the number of counselling hours made available to any one employee. 

What about reporting?

An employer may request end-of-month statistical information regarding the number of hours used and the number of individuals who have used those hours. 

When can I access counselling?

Counselling is available during normal AEST business hours, M – F 9.00 am – 5.00 pm, or to schedule a telephone counselling appointment 24 hours per day 7 days per week Australia wide.

EAP counselling addresses issues including stress, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, relationship issues, traumatic incidents, termination & redundancy, financial concerns, manager advice, health, dietary & nutritional advice and bereavement.
